As Principal of It's Material I help open up space for new directions in cities, the built environment and the economy.

I do this through:

• Creative communication that strengthens connection between people, places and the processes that shape them, for example "30th Ave - A Year in the Life of a Street", "I live here - Queens", and "Youth Media Forward (working with teenage journalists in four of the 2026 World Cup host cities - Guadalajara, Los Angeles, New York - New Jersey, and Toronto)

• Facilitation for teams, boards, networks and coalitions

• Teaching, for example I co-Direct IHRB's global professional certificate on human rights and the built environment, supported by Ove Arup Foundation and Ramboll Foundation

• Designing and launching programs that set new agendas for change, e.g. IHRB's "Dignity by Design" program on human rights and just transitions in the built environment
